Dana Musinski - Head Coach

Dana Musinski cheered for four years at Conant High School and for three years at Illinois State University.  Dana was the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach for one year and was the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach for five years at Conant H.S. from 2008-2013.  During her coaching tenure at Conant, she helped lead the Cougars to win four MSL Conference Titles, four ISHA Sectional Titles, and finish in the top five of the IHSA State finals all five years that she coached Varsity, including a State Championship in 2010, a runner-up finish in 2011, and a 3rd place finish in 2013.  Dana also coached for one year at Ultimate Athletics where she created their international program.  During her time coaching at UA, her International Open Coed Level 5 team won several national championships and placed 9th at the 2014 USASF Cheerleading World Championship in Orlando, Florida.  Dana is currently in her 2nd year as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Fremd.  Last year, her Varsity team earned 2nd at MSL, 3rd at IHSA Sectionals, and 13th at the IHSA State Championship.  Dana is currently in her 12th year teaching Special Education at Fremd H.S.  She also holds two Master’s Degrees in Reading and School Counseling.  Dana is also a certified competitive cheerleading official for IHSA, IRCA, ICCA, and IESA.
